The AI receptionist that lives on your business card

An AI receptionist is software that greets the people who reach you, answers their questions and takes their details, with no human on the line. Most sit on a phone number or a website. FirstContactX puts one on the card you hand over, so it starts working at the handshake.

01

What is an AI receptionist?

An AI receptionist is an assistant that answers on your behalf, around the clock, using what it has been told about your business. It handles the first questions, collects the visitor details, and passes you the whole exchange instead of a missed call.

02

What makes this one different?

A phone-based AI receptionist waits for a call. A website chatbot waits for a visit. A FirstContactX receptionist travels: it is on the card you hand over at an event, in your email signature, behind the QR code on your badge, so it meets people at the moment they are most curious about you.

03

What does it actually do?

It answers from your knowledge base, speaks and listens out loud, captures the visitor name and contact details, works in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and sends you the entire conversation.

04

How do you set one up?

Three steps: create your card, point the AI at your site, decks and FAQs, and switch on Pro. Setup takes minutes, and the card itself is free.

05

What does an AI receptionist cost?

On FirstContactX it is $19 per month, or $190 per year. Dedicated AI receptionist services usually start in the hundreds per month, because they staff a phone line. Ours is priced as software, because it is.

What people check before switching it on.

Does an AI receptionist replace a person?

It replaces the waiting, not the person. It handles the questions that would otherwise sit unanswered until you were free, and hands you the conversation so you decide what happens next.

Can it book meetings?

No. It does not touch your calendar, and we will not sell you a feature you cannot switch on. What it does is take the request: if a visitor asks for time, that reaches you as a lead with the whole conversation, and you send the invitation.

What languages does it speak?

English, Portuguese and Spanish, chosen automatically from the visitor browser, in text and out loud. You write your knowledge base once.

What does it do when it does not know the answer?

It says so, and offers you instead: it captures the question, asks for the visitor contact details and sends both to you, so the gap in the knowledge base becomes a lead rather than a bad answer.
